After a big disappointment in 2009 Latvia (1st in 2002) will this time be represented by Aisha and her song “what for?”.
Well, let’s call this one “interesting”.
She is not the best singer and the somehow depressing (or ridiculous?) lyrics make me shiver. After this we all might need lots of chocolate, alcohol and L-O-V-E.
And maybe she will need those little helpers too. ‘Cause she’s never gonna make it into the hearts of Europe’s televoters with a phony performance like this.
Unless they modify this whole thing.
What if they undressed the laundry ladies a little and let the singer make out dance with them? What if they added some boots, belts, cool haircuts and…well…tattoos?
I’m sure it still couldn’t reach the top of our little lesbian-subtext-list though…
